Whole-genome sequencing of 146 imported SARS-CoV-2 cases

Imported SARS-CoV-2 cases involved individuals who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid and had either resided in or traveled to any country or region outside mainland China within 14 days prior to testing. The first nucleic acid results of all imported cases were obtained from the Hangzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). All imported cases were treated at Hangzhou Xixi Hospital or stayed at the centralized quarantine hotel during the isolation period. Whole-genome sequencing of all SARS-CoV-2 throat swab samples was promptly completed by the Hangzhou CDC.
