资源简介:
This collection contains data related to parasite infection of the endemic Lake Baikal zooplankton Epischurella baikalensis. The data comes from laboratory experiments, long-term monitoring records, and population modeling. Included are data on the growth of Saprolegnia colonies on agar; survival and reproduction rates of Epischurella baikalensis under varying temperature conditions and exposure to Saprolegnia; zooplankton abundance and Saprolegnia presence from 1951 to 2003 in long-term monitoring data; and inputs and outputs from population modeling simulations. Results from analyzing this data can be found in 'Hot and sick: impacts of warming and oomycete parasite infection on endemic dominant zooplankter of Lake Baikal' (https://doi.org/10.1101/711655). Funding: NSF DEB-1136637, DEB-1136657. The long-term Lake Baikal data are part of a data sets No. 2005620028 and No. 2014621482 registered with the government of the Russian Federation. E.V. Pislegina, E.A. Silow and M.A. Timofeyev were supported by a Ministry of Higher Education and Research of Russian Federation award #6.1387.2017 and by funding from the Lake Baikal Foundation (https://baikalfoundation.ru/project/tochka-1/).
