Topical ivermectin treatment of rosacea changes the bacterial microbiome of the skin

The role of the skin microbiome in rosacea remains unclear and quantitative analysis of the bacterial microbiome has not been performed pre and post treatment. This study is to evaluate whether treatment with the anthelmintic ivermectin would result in change in the bacterial microbiome in subjects with rosacea.
