PFAS water and biota sampling data from Turku region, including samples of stormwater (9), urban brooks/rivers (19), coastal waters (15), rainwater (4) and fish (perch muscle; 5).

Water sample data set includes following information:

Sample ID
Location: name of the location
Lat: latitude of the sampling location in WGS84 coordinate system
Long: longitude of the sampling location in WGS84 coordinate system
Date: date of the sampling in DD.MM.YYYY
Date0: date of the sampling YYYYMMDD
Sampling time: time of the sampling
Type: type of the sampling location/sampled water; brook/river, sea water (brackish), ditch, or stormwater
Sampling method: method of sampling, either grab sample or composite of varying length (specified)
Weather: information on whether the sample has been taken during dry weather or during rain
pH
Conductivity µS/cm: conductivity of the water at 25 degrees Celsius in µS/cm
Solids mg/l: suspended solids in the sample in mg/l
TOC mg/l: total organic carbon in the sample in mg/l

Concentrations for 52 PFAS substances, listed below. 6:2 FTAB was only measured from samples taken during 2025 (14 samples)

Lat = latitude of the fishing location in WGS84 coordinate system
Long = longitude of the fishing location in WGS84 coordinate system

Weight (g) = weight of the whole fish in grams
Length (cm) = length of the whole fish in centimeters
Sex = male/female
Sample in which included = ID of the pooled sample into which the fish was included in.
