Project 8 Data Release for AI/ML Applications

The enclosed data release consists of a set of simulated Cyclotron Radiation Emission Spectroscopy (CRES) spectrograms from the Project 8 experiment. Each spectrogram is accompanied by a pixel- level binary segmentation label mask distinguishing signal pixels from background noise, a per-pixel class weight map for use in imbalanced-class training, and relevant metadata, all stored in HDF5 file format. The Project 8 Collaboration has authorized the public release of this dataset, permitting its use for all purposes. The Project 8 Collaboration maintains ownership rights over the simulated data and the associated software used to produce it.
