Understanding the Variables Associated with the Spread of Antimicrobial Resistance to Carbapenems and/or Polymyxins in Intensive Care Units and the Implementation of a Multimodal Intervention to Mitigate Transmission

This project aims to investigate the factors contributing to the spread of antimicrobial resistance to carbapenems and/or polymyxins in intensive care units. By identifying key variables that drive the transmission of resistant bacteria, the project seeks to develop and implement a multimodal intervention strategy to reduce the spread of these drug-resistant infections, ultimately improving patient safety and outcomes in healthcare settings.
