Partial genome sequencing of Moniliophthora roreri CPMRT01 from Tabasco Mexico

A six-steps experimental strategy was designed: 1) generation and sequencing of genomic libraries; 2) sequential quality analysis; 3) DNA trimming); 4) assembling; 5) assembly filtering; 6) functional annotation. 26,971,432 total readings were performed, of which 9,142 resulted in assembly, obtaining alignment matches with species including the genus Moniliophthora. Among the most interesting results obtained, it was observed the prediction of not yet reported proteins of different nature involved in infection processes and secondary metabolism.
