99 - ICOBAR - Bridging the Pension Knowledge-Action Gap Behavioral Analytics and Workforce Resilience
收藏资源简介:
The demographic landscape of Indonesia is rapidly shifting, with the elderly population projected to reach 17,3% by 2025, creating urgent challenges for SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). Despite rising financial literacy, a critical "Knowledge-Action Gap" persists, where high cognitive understanding fails to drive active pension participation among millennials. This study investigates this behavioral disconnect by analyzing the mediating roles of Perceived Future Risk and Perceived Usefulness. Employing a quantitative approach with Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) on 150 professionals in the Jabodetabek region, the empirical results reject the traditional view: Financial Literacy has no significant direct effect on participation intention. Instead, Perceived Usefulness functions as the primary behavioral determinant, effectively mediating the impact of risk awareness. These findings suggest that millennials prioritize calculated digital utility over normative financial knowledge. Consequently, this study proposes a strategic shift toward "Behavioral Analytics." It recommends that pension providers leverage IT-driven visualization tools to transform abstract longevity risks into tangible personal insights. By demonstrating value through digital dashboards, institutions can bridge the gap, securing future sales and ensuring long-term workforce resilience.
