Dataset about the effects of robot-assisted gait training combined with traditional treatment on gait pattern, motor skills and quality of life in Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia

This dataset was collected to evaluate the effectiveness of a robot-assisted gait training (RAGT) combined with traditional treatment (TT) on gait pattern, motor skills and quality of life on subjects affected by HSP.40 patients (33 pure; 20 pediatric) underwent an intensive treatment with a session of RAGT and a session of TT daily (five-times a week for three consecutive weeks). Patients were evaluated pre and post intervention with gait analysis, timed walking tests, gross-motor and balance tests and quality of life questionnaires. A three-month follow-up was collected.
