Neuromelanin-Sensitive MRI Substantia Nigra Measurements in Parkinson’s Disease

This dataset was created as part of the Latvian Council of Science research project (lzp-2022/1-0100) aimed at developing an integrative approach to the assessment of cognitive abilities in patients with neurodegenerative diseases of the central nervous system. It contains neuromelanin-sensitive MRI signal intensity measurements from the substantia nigra region, along with clinical and demographic data. The dataset represents a subset of data from the published study by Silovs et al. (2026).
