HiC/TCC data of barley (H. vulgare) plants

We employed chromosome conformation capture sequencing (HiC) and its derivative protocol tethered chromosome conformation capture (TCC) to interrogate the three-dimensional conformation of barley chromatin in the nucleus. These data were used (i) for chromosome-scale sequence scaffolding in frame of the International Barley Genome Sequencing Consortium's effort to construct a map-based reference sequence assembly of barley cv. "Morex" and (ii) to describe the three-dimensional conformation of the barley genome at megabase resolution on the basis of this genome sequence.
