Article dataset: Expanding knowledge of the flora of Maranhão: richness and distribution of Capparaceae

The dataset consists of three spreadsheets: (1) a similarity matrix based on the presence and absence of species in different Brazilian states; (2) records of collected materials; and (3) a spreadsheet with Capparaceae collections available in virtual databases. Both field records and those from databases include geographic coordinates used in the preparation of the species distribution map.
