In this study, we present the draft genome sequence for Lactobacillus fuchuensis MFPC41A2801. This strain was isolated from a vacuum-packed beef carpaccio. The draft genome will contribute to understand the role of L. fuchuensis species in spoilage of food products through comparative genomics with other strains.
