ABIS (All Babies in Southeast Sweden) is a prospective population-based cohort of 17055 children born in southeast Sweden from October 1, 1997, to October 1, 1999. The ABIS general-population cohort was designed to identify environmental and genetic factors associated with autoimmune diseases.Here, we show 16 infants at one year of age that developed type 1 diabetes up to twenty years in the future. These infants were matched iteratively to infants that remained healthy based on factors found to impact binomial beta diversity. https://github.com/PMilletich/T1D_Pipeline
