资源简介:
The plant pathogen Phytophthora cinnamomi is a significant threat to native vegetation around the world. The pathogen has significantly damaged the native vegetation in the south-west of Western Australia which is a global biodiversity hotspot. . Majority of native species are susceptible to the pathogen. Due to the significant damage pathogen has caused, the forest structure has been changed reducing the habitat and resource availability for dependent flora and fauna. Complete eradication of the pathogen from infested sites is not possible. This study assessed the feasibility of rehabilitating P. cinnamomi-infested forest sites with native resistant species.
