"Engineering Graduate Employability and Salary Dataset: Multi-College Assessment Scores and Placement Outcomes"

"This dataset contains placement and salary records of 12,864 engineering and management students from 36 higher education institutions across India in April of 2022. All college names have been anonymised to protect institutional identity. Each record includes the student's field of engineering, degree type, and scoring across eight skill dimensions \u2014 Aptitude, English, Quantitative Reasoning, Analytical Ability, Domain Knowledge, Computer Fundamentals, and Coding \u2014 graded on an 800-point scale. The dataset also captures the final placement status (Placed \/ Not Placed) and salary offered in Lakhs Per Annum (LPA). Unplaced candidates were assigned a value of zero in this dataset. This dataset has been designed to help research on the prediction of graduate employability, salary estimation, skill gap analysis, and even higher education outcomes in emergent economies. It is suitable for the tasks of supervised machine learning, such as binary classification, regression, statistical comparative studies across engineering disciplines."
