This dataset is based on a self built portable dilution sampling system for data sampling. The system integrates four modules: dilution chamber, PM2.5 cutter, online monitoring, and three channel sampling device, which synchronously achieve online monitoring of multi-component gases and parallel sampling of three channel filter membranes. The online monitoring device uses the SKS-BF-M7 multi-component gas analyzer produced by Guangdong Scoson Company to measure the concentrations of CO2, CH4, CO, NO2, NO, NOX, SO2, and TVOC in real time. The sampling device collects PM2.5 samples through three parallel arranged quartz filter membranes for subsequent laboratory analysis. From October 2018 to the end of January 2019, stratified random sampling was used to conduct household testing and sample collection in rural areas of 9 provinces/autonomous regions in western China, covering typical areas such as the Loess Plateau, northwest arid regions, and Qinghai Tibet Plateau, covering major fuel types such as firewood, straw, loose coal, and livestock manure, and collecting emission data for 9 types of pollutants. The dataset is stored in one Excel file, containing 326 sets of sample data, each set of data covering five types of information: basic information, stove and fuel information, field parameters, experimental data, and emission factor calculation data. This dataset can provide basic data support for the construction of regional air pollution models, regional air pollution source inventories, and rural energy consumption and environmental health impact assessments. It can provide quantitative basis for rural clean heating renovation and carbon reduction path optimization, help scientifically decompose the "dual carbon" target, and promote the transformation of rural energy utilization towards green and low-carbon direction.
