This project goal was to generate DNA aptamers for eosinophil peroxidase (EPX) using a random DNA library. The target EPX was covalently attached to magnetic beads and mixed with the library. The bound sequences were isolated and amplified by PCR to apply in the next round of selection. After 15 round of selection, the DNA pool was deep sequenced using Illumina Miseq and analyzed.
