GAL-2 Local Daemon Continuity Pack collected on 2026-04-21 on a macOS local daemon environment. This package documents application-facing temporal continuity behavior relevant to GAL-2 as a software-defined temporal governance layer. The included tests evaluate monotonic continuity, restart-safe recovery, holdover continuity during induced upstream loss, and short-run local daemon stability. Included results: 5,000 sequential local reads with 0 backward steps 10,000 parallel local reads with 0 backward steps 5 forced daemon restarts with 0 backward steps in successful samples Holdover / rejoin test with 300/300 successful local responses, continuous local service during induced upstream loss, and 0 backward steps 10-minute local probe with 600/600 successful local responses and 0 backward steps Key interpretation: These results support GAL-2 as a software-defined temporal governance layer that preserves monotonic application-facing continuity across live, holdover, rejoin, and forced daemon restarts. This package does not establish a current public claim of 1 microsecond universal accuracy, microsecond-level alignment for all networks, or universal absolute precision.
