Aquilaria yunnanensis is a precious agarwood tree, which has been listed in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. We constructed a chromosome-scale reference genome of Aquilaria yunnanensis by using PacBio HiFi long reads and Hi-C technology to facilitate the investigation of its genome characteristics and evolution.
