资源简介:

Within this spatial dataset the FAO/UNESCO soil classes (Vargas, 2022) present within major five Climatologically Homogeneous Regions (CHR) (Patwardhan et al., 2016), their representative soil properties (Batjes, 1997) and further modified classes based on homogeneity of potential soil behaviour is provided. This dataset may support ideal species selection for agriculture and forestry based on adaptability and tolerance limits of plants to soil conditions and present and future of climatic conditions in increase efficiency in sustainable land use. The development process of the data and its potential uses are to be discussed in relevant literature. References Batjes, N.H. (1997).
