Dataset to accompany Kjelstad et al. Fjord Hyperbenthic Communities Manuscript

This dataset accompanies the manuscript by Kjelstad, S., Salvanes, A.G.V., Zimmermann, F., Søvik, G., and Gallo, N.D. titled "Effects of climate-responsive, fjordscape, and aquaculture-associated environmental drivers on fjord hyperbenthic community structure." Bottom trawl samples were collected from 17 fjord basins and nearshore coastal stations of Western Norway (59-63°N) in 2011-2022.

Four files are provided: 

FjordCommunities_catch_df.xlsx contains metadata and catch per unit effort data for all species captured in the 88 bottom trawls that make up the dataset. 

FjordCommunities_community_matrix.xlsx contains the station ID and only the species catch per unit effort data. 

FjordCommunities_env_df.xlsx contains trawl metadata and corresponding environmental conditions. 

FjordCommunities_variables_static.xlsx contains more extensive trawl metadata and includes calculation of the aquaculture impact score.
