RNA-seq of the Asparagopsis taxiformis holobiont at different stocking densities

We provide RNA sequencing of the Asparagopsis taxiformis holobiont cultured for 5 days under constant light at temperature conditions. For the purpose of this study, RNA was obtained from xenic A. taxiformis tetrasporophytes cultured at stocking densities of 0.18g/L, 0.25g/L, 0.5g/L, 1g/L, 5g/L. For each stocking density treatment, 3 replicate cultures were conducted. From each replicate culture, RNA was extracted from approximately 50mg of fresh weight and sequenced thereafter.
