ABM simulations of tumors in vasculature using the ARCADE framework

Overview A collection of 15,000 snapshot images of tumor growth simulated by the ARCADE agent-based modeling framework. The dataset is partitioned into two sets, simulations that were run in a 'colony' context with no healthy cells populated around the tumor (denoted by filenames starting with 'C_'), and simulations that were run in a 'tissue' context which had healthy cells competing for space and resources (denoted by filenames starting with 'CH_'). Each simulation was run for 15 days after the initial tumor seeing, and snapshots were taken every day. Each image is a 128x128 pixels png. The filenames contain necessary metadata about each image in the form:<C/CH>_<vasculature_type>_<simulation_seed>_<timestep>_cells_cancer.png Vasculature All simulations were run with dynamic vasculature that was able to deliver oxygen, nutrients, and TGFa. The vasculature was coupled with the tumor growth, and excess shear or pressure could cause vessel segments to collapse. There were five different initial vasculature geometries that determined the number of nodes and configurations for veins and arteries (Lav, Lava, Lvav, Sav, Savav). More information about these configurations can be found in the original manuscript released alongside the ARCADE framework.
