Global gene-expression profiles of WT Arabidopsis (Col-0), npr1-1, and hac1/5 were generated by RNA seq to study functional relationship between NPR1 and HACs in plant defense Overall design: 4-week-old WT (Col-0), npr1-1, and hac1/5 plants were sprayed with water or INA for 12hr before harvest. Total RNAs were isolated (OD260/280 ratio of 1.8 to 2.2) and cDNA libraries were prepared by Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI) by standard Illumina protocols.
