Koala Scat Microbiome Profiling - Benchmarking for Health Diagnostics

This project benchmarks predicting health outcomes in koalas using scat microbiome data and machine learning algorithms. Scat samples from 125 koalas were analyzed with 16S PacBio HiFi sequencing, integrating phylogenetic approaches and metrics like sex, age, and stress metabolites. This study, titled "Towards a Healthier Future: Koala Health Diagnostics Through Scat Microbiome," aims to enhance koala health diagnostics through advanced machine learning applications.
