The frequent volcanic activity of the Wudalianchi region has formed unique hydrogeological conditions, and its mineral springs and peloid resources are world-renowned. During its eruption process, the succession of microecology under volcanic eruption has been recorded. This comprehensive study represents the first investigation of the mineralogical, geological, and micrological characteristics of the Wudalianchi Yaoquanshan peloid. Our study provides several insights into the unique biogeographical distribution of the bacterial community and the driving factors in peloid maturation
