资源简介:
Black Aspergilli represent one of the most important fungal resources of metabolites for biotechnological industry. However, information currently known on these metabolites results almost exclusively on one model organism: A. niger. In this study, we report the draft genome of A. tubingensis. The 35 Mb genome of A. tubingensis is composed of 10994 predicted genes. A genomic-based discovery of secondary metabolites pathways identifies 80 gene clusters in the draft genome of A. tubingensis. Among them, four secondary metabolites biosynthetic genes clusters are firstly identified and the putative cluster for asperazine, an antibiotic compound, is described for the first time. Besides, key biosynthetic genes required for ochratoxin A and fumonisins productions are absent from this draft genome. Nevertheless, presence of intergenic sequences of these mycotoxins biosynthetic pathways could give evolutive clues on the acquisition / loss of toxigenic properties in filamentous fungi. It could also help understand the diversity and evolution of SM biosynthesis in black Aspergilli. Bioinformatics analyses of the genome of this A. tubingensis strain, isolated from French Mediterranean vineyard, confirm its safety and highlight its potential for metabolites.
