Microbial Community within the terrestrial mud volcanoes in Niigata, Japan. volcano metagenome

The samples were collected from both surface and depth of the active methane-seeping mud volcanoes, Murono and Kamou, located in Niigata prefecture, central Japan. Our goal is to reveal a complex microbial community structure of the Japanese terrestrial mud volcanoes' deep biosphere.
