Data and code for: Structural changes and warming trends across Mediterranean coastal cities (1990–2020)

This repository contains the data and Python scripts used to analyze long-term temperature trends, extreme indices (TX90p, TN90p), diurnal asymmetry, and structural break detection across twelve Mediterranean coastal cities for the period 1990–2020. The repository includes:- Processed annual temperature metrics- Extreme temperature indices- Mann–Kendall trend analysis with trend-free prewhitening- Segmented regression for breakpoint detection- Monte Carlo simulations- Python scripts used to generate all results and figures All scripts are fully reproducible using relative paths.
