Danish Election Study 1987

Danish Election Study 1987 contains data from four omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1987. In addition to the standard background variables of these omnibuses, the respondents were asked about their exact occupation and the exact occupation of their spouse, about trade union membership, and occupation of their father (or of the breadwinner) when the respondent was approx. 14 years old. However, occupation of the respondent's spouse and father is only found in two of the four omnibuses. # Furthermore, the first omnibus contains questions about when the respondent decided to vote as she/he did at the general election on 8 September, 1987, about which party the respondent voted for in 1984, about the respondent's political interest, and about the respondent's attitude to four statements: that in general one may depend upon the politicians to make the right decisions for the country; that economic growth has priority over environmental considerations; that the state should control private enterprise; and that the social retrenchments have gone too far
