Fish consumption in Spanish households by type 2021

Hake and whiting are the most consumed type of fish in Spain. In 2021, the consumption of hake and whiting amounted to more than 103 kilograms. Far behind, consumption of salmon amounted to 74 kilograms that year. It was followed by sardines and anchovies, the third most consumed fish by Spanish households.
