Rhein-Hunsrück: Survey with young people on needs and obstacles related to apprenticeships in Rhein-Hunsrück District, Germany

Survey method: Online survey administered through a structured questionnaire in the survey platform QuestionPro. Respondents were invited to provide quantitative assessments using predefined scales and ranking questions, complemented by open-ended questions allowing qualitative input and additional comments. The survey was distributed through various channels, nonetheless participation is partly self-selected and partly purposive, as entire classes were encouraged to participate by their teachers. The survey contains items by which representativeness can be assessed (e.g. school types, ages, gender). Place and dates. The survey was open between July and October 2024. Documentation. This document contains the standardised questionnaire used for the online survey distributed among the local youth (below). Data Processing. Data were anonymized wherever necessary. As published, the data are not cleaned; unfinished forms are included– missing values not treated; we included only the finished forms in our analyses.
