In 2022, the country with the highest mobile internet penetration in Latin America and the Caribbean was Uruguay, as this service reach almost 90 percent of the country's population. Chile and Costa Rica followed, with 87.79 and 83.91 percent each. On the other hand, Central American and Caribbean countries like Haiti, Cuba, and Belize ranked the lowest, with a mobile internet penetration rate lower than 40 percent in the same year.
