TXeco: leaf functional trait dataset for herbaceous forb and graminoid species of Texan grasslands

Initial release of data, metadata, and R scripts for "The cost of resource use for photosynthesis drives variance in leaf nitrogen content in grasslands of Texas, USA", a paper currently in preparation for journal submission led by Evan A. Perkowski along with co-authors Helen G. Scott and Nicholas G. Smith. Data includes leaf functional trait data collected in Texas grasslands between 2020 and 2021, as well as climate data mined from the PRISM climate data product.
