These ORF sequences were generated by the FlyBi project for large-scale mapping of binary interactions in Drosophila. FlyBi is a collaboration among the Berkeley Drosophila Genome Project (S. Celniker), Center for Cancer Systems Biology (M. Vidal), and Drosophila RNAi Screening Center (N. Perrimon). The project was funded by an NIGMS grant to N. Perrimon, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA 02115. The ORF was sequenced as a pool using the Illumina HiSeq as part of a high-throughput process generated by PCR amplification of BDGP Drosophila Gene Collection open reading frame clones followed by cloning into the Gateway recombinational cloning vector pDONR223. These ORFs were amplified, without a stop-codon (to allow fusion with C-terminal tag), from the parent clone. Clone structure of the ORFs and flanking sequence is as follows: 5'' - caactt tgtacaaaaa agttggcacc -ORF- ttgccaactt tcttgtacaa agttg - 3''.
