Gene expression array analysis of histone demethylase Gasc1/Jmjd2c/Kdm4c gene hypomorphic mouse brain. Mus musculus

Disruption of GASC1 histone demethylase activity in mouse affected histone methylation status and caused behavioral abnormalities. Therefore, we compared gene expression profiles in the brains of mutant and wild-type control mice. Total RNA was prepared from the cerebrum, hippocampus, amygdala, and hypothalamus of three 12-month-old Gasc1 mutants and three wild-type controls and submitted to Agilent Mouse Whole Genome Array (4X44K, G4121F) and analyzed with GeneSpring GX 10.0.
