Epigenetic regulation of translation repression in ferroptosis, and a role of Alternative splicing

Ferroptosis is a non-apoptotic cell death mechanism characterized by the production of lipid peroxides. Here we performed transcriptome profiling on B35 neuroblastoma cells exposed to either Erastin (System xCT inhibitor) or RSL3 (GPX4 inhibitor) with or without co-treatment with Actinomycin D (transcription inhibitor) or Cycloheximide (translation inhibitor). Libraries were prepared using NEBNext Ultra II RNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina after PolyA mRNA enrichment.
