Corinectria sp. transcriptome sequencing, assembly, and annotation

Many Siberian fungi species remain poorly studied, especially from a genetic point of view. In this project, we present results of the de novo transcriptome sequencing, assembly, and annotation of the previously undescribed ascomycete fungus Corinectria sp., causing massive necrotic cancerous lesions of Siberian fir (Abies sibirica Ledeb.) stands. The obtained data provide the genomic resource for further experiments and studies to identify the molecular genetic mechanisms of pathogenesis.
