This dataset shows points relating to planning applications for renewable energy developments. This includes Wind farms/Turbines, Solar, Battery Storage, Biomass, Energy from Waste, Hydro and Hydrogen, In the case of applications for wind farms or wind turbines, a point is shown for each turbine location. This was added to ODP on 22/07/2026 This was last reviewed on 19/06/2026 This is regularly refreshed: The data is refreshed quarterly when resources allow. Additional Info: The data is updated by reviewing the Planning Applications System (Uniform) and by checking consultations from the Scottish Government’s Energy Consents Unit.
