Behavioural responses to radio-tag attachment in butterflies

This dataset contains individual-level records of butterflies collected to document behavioural responses to attached radio transmitters, especially cases of active tag removal. The data include morphological measurements and recorded behavioural outcomes across eight butterfly species under controlled conditions, complemented by a representative video recording documenting tag removal behaviour. The dataset can be reused for studies on insect biologging, behavioural responses to animal-borne tracking devices, and methodological assessments in telemetry research. The dataset contains no personal or sensitive information.
