Machilus japonica leaves and galls

The total RNA from leaf galls and the corresponding infected leaves in Machilus japonica was sequenced to provide information on the different gene expression patterns between leaves and galls. Galls on the leaves were induced by the infection of the psyllid (Trioza shuiliensis) and were collected at both early and late developmental stages, depending on the instar stages of the insect larvae. Uninfected normal leaves were also sequenced as part of this project.
