Agrobacterium sp. ATCC 31749. This project involves the sequencing of genomic DNA from a single organism, Agrobacterium sp. ATCC 31749, to generate a draft genome sequence. The reads from 454 sequencing were assembled into contigs, and the contigs were aligned in random order to yield a pseudochromosome for this organism. The pseudochromosome was used for gene prediction and annotation. The annotated pseudochromosome will be submitted as a scaffold using an AGP file in addition to the contig (WGS) sequences.
