ABSTRACT Understanding the prevalence of anorexia nervosa in this specific demographic is crucial for identifying potential risk factors, implementing targeted interventions, and promoting mental health awareness on college campuses. This research can contribute valuable insight to support the development of preventive strategies and support systems for students facing eating disorders. The study aimed to determine the rate of anorexia nervosa prevalence among college students . An online survey study among college going students was conducted. Using convenient sampling, 388 students were included in this study. A self -developed questionnaire was used for data collection, which contained 19 questions to assess the prevalence of anorexia nervosa. Among all 388 college students, the present study assessed that 68.12% students were not affected and did not experience any change in weight, eating habits, body image, sleep patterns, and BMI. The present study concluded that less than half (31.88%) of the undergraduate university students experienced some degree of body image dissatisfaction, dietary exclusion and decreased BMI, reduction in weight and also other symptoms of anorexia nervosa.
