Airway bacteria and P. aeruginosa pathogens under antibiotic therapy

We aimed to explore the effects of broad-spectrum combination antibiotic therapy on Pseudomonas aeruginosa populations in the lungs of cystic fibrosis patients. Sputum samples were collected daily to provide sufficient temporal resolution to capture rapid effects.
