Decreased estrogen level in ovariectomized mice causes an increase in oxidative stress in osteal macrophages leading to development of cellular senescence

Osteal macrophages were isolated from ovariectomized and control mice 4 weeks after surgery. Oeritoneal macrophages collected from ovariectomized mice exhibited gene signature of NADPH oxidase activation which is known as key modulator in aging and cell senescence. Overall design: RNA-seq for osteal macrophages isolated from ovariectomized and control mice
