Europa Clipper is the NASA’s next flagship mission; while in a Jupiter orbit, it will explore Europa with a moon tour that includes more than 45 Europa flybys. Crank-Over-the-Top and petal rotation are two specific sequences of flybys that mission designers utilize to develop moon tours to meet a high number of science and mission requirements. This paper analyses the ∆v cost of both techniques and how eclipse constraints drive the design.
