This supplementary material provides details of the data and tables supporting the results and findings of the relevant article: “A big data approach to assess progress towards Sustainable Development Goals for cities of varying sizes”. The relevant study aimed to construct a generic indicator system using open-source big data and develop an artificial neural network model to efficiently assess the overall SDG progress (SDG Index) for cities of varying sizes. This supplementary material includes the city-level indicator system of SDGs using statistical data, individual SDG scores and SDG Index scores, typical indicators performance, and the major data and indicator gaps for a more comprehensive assessment of SDGs.
