Ralstonia pseudosolanacearum CaRs-Mep Genome sequencing and assembly

Ralstonia solanacearum Race 4/Biovar 3/Phylotype I causes vascular wilt in small cardamom and several other plants in Zingiberaceae and Solanaceae. Bacterial wilt of small cardamom was first recorded in estates located in Meppadi, Wyanad, Kerala, India. The causal bacterial pathogen in preserved as glycerol stock in the Division of Plant Pathology, IARI, New Delhi and Division of Crop Protection, Indian Institute of Spices Research, Kozhikode, Kerala.
