Site Data from Archaeological Works on the Land at Ivy House, Bull Lane, Peakirk, Peterborough, January and December 2022

This collection comprises images, reports, and site records from an archaeological evaluation and excavation at Ivy House, Bull Lane, Peakirk, Peterborough. This work was undertaken by Pre-Construct Archaeology Ltd. in January and December 2022. The investigations revealed two north-south aligned ditches and a series of pits which contained a small amount pottery dating to the medieval period. The site lies circa 150 metres south of St Pega church, which has Saxon origins, and the features may be part of settlement evidence related to early medieval occupation at Peakirk or agricultural activity in its close vicinity.
